Theft investigation leads to 2 arrests in Chillicothe

The Chillicothe Police department has been investigating about two dozen recent reports involving theft from vehicles happening around the area.

Officers received credible information that led to obtaining a search warrant October 14th to search two different residences in Chillicothe.

One of the residences searched was 1104 Third Street in Chillicothe where property from a majority of the thefts reported were solved and stolen property recovered.

The search resulted in the arrests of 18-year-old, Joshua Davis, and 23-year-old, Melissa Davis, both Chillicothe residents. Two other subjects were taken into custody and then released pending further investigation.
